Reform can be accomplished only when attitudes are changed.

Social Accountability Transformation Initiative is a non-governmental organization that promotes social change and transformation.
We utilize innovative approaches to foster positive values and health outcomes. Additionally, we support sustainable development for a better society through social awareness, reform, and development efforts across Africa.
Our approach to sustainable change involves mass activation and mobilization of ideas, events, messaging, training, unlearning, and learning to motivate citizens to give back to their communities. We complement the government's efforts by reaching out to people, especially youth, women, and children at the grassroots level, addressing issues of community development, health, the environment, peace, and conflict.
We bridge the development gap by empowering individuals, youth, farmers, and women's groups morally, socially, and economically, thereby driving societal change. We serve communities through various programs, including outreach, seminars, and workshops, bringing in professional resource persons to impart skills, knowledge, and build capacities in diverse fields.
We believe that women are the backbone of society, and developing their capacity and empowering them has a multiplier effect on society as a whole.
Promotes and ensure healthy living and sustainability through community-centered approaches to access clean water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities via (WASH) theme.

Our activities under Humanitarian area seek to respond to emergency situations and support individuals and communities with interventions that will place them on the path to recovery and resilience.
Our implementation of programmes, interventions, projects and activities is guided by transparency and accountability while ensuring value for resources committed. This means that our organizational culture and engagements clearly communicate mutual trust, honesty, transparency and accountability.
We conduct our activities in line with international best practices and ethics. Our work is result-oriented, achieving both development effectiveness and desired results in an inclusive manner.
We accomplish tasks by collaborating with others to achieve a common goal, sharing in successes and taking collective responsibility for lapses. We seek to understand the views and ideas of others and as we work, we recognize the positive contributions of each person, so as to build strong relationships within and beyond.
As an organization and in the work that we do, we provide equal opportunities for all, ensuring we leave no one behind.
